Always open, these are our most basic wall louvers. Constructed with a thick frame and blades, these louvers have a long service life.
Mount these louvers into openings that are too small for most louvers. They are sized for use in block and brick walls. Get an exact fit for your opening by sliding out these louvers to the width you need. The included filter cleans the air as it passes through these louvers. Mount these louvers through an outside wall and control airflow from the inside by adjusting the register.
Allow air to circulate through doors while maintaining privacy. Louvers meet UL 10C fire requirements. Relieve heat and moisture buildup in enclosures and other small spaces. These louvers are gravity operated. The blades open when your roof-mounted exhaust fan goes on and close when it's off, preventing backdrafts.

Money ManagementCorrect betting money management strategy can often prove the difference between winning and losing, and we cannot emphasise enough the importance of what you are about to read. It is ultimately up to individual bettors to make the final decision, but the following guidelines should help novice punters improve their winning chances. Most live betting strategies are meant to secure profit regardless of the final result, meaning you will be trading prices and it is crucial to make your bets in just the right time.
Spread BettingSpread betting is a unique type of wagering on sporting events where it is not crucial whether your prediction is correct or not, but rather how accurate you are. Namely, in sports spread betting, you are not awarded a fixed payout, but instead receive cash for each point above the spread, or lose as much money for each point below the spread.
The Double StakeThe double stake sports betting strategy is very simple. Double DepositBookmakers often offer special welcome or deposit bonuses. These bonuses mean free money. With this strategy, you can easily make a nice profit. Provided you are doing the right actions and continue to think logically while applying this 79th minute strategy. Spot In-PlayCurrently a lot of sportsbetting bookmakers offer In-Play bets more than ever. The Spot In-Play strategy is often used by more experienced betters that have more than average knowledge about football.

We'll take a deeper dive into those six matchups below. Furthermore, you can find odds (via OddsShark) and props (via OddsChecker) for each Week 13 game, in addition to some picks.
Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens (-2. Danny Woodhead and Buck Allen should also create havoc in third-down situations, as their pass-catching prowess should give the Lions fits. But the game will be won between the tackles. Look for Collins to cross the century mark as the Ravens control the time of possession and win a low-scoring matchup. The Atlanta Falcons are on a roll after winning three straight games, but they are banged up in the defensive backfield heading into a crucial matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
Of note, cornerback Desmond Trufant suffered a concussion and will not play. Fellow corner Brian Poole only turned in one limited practice this week and is questionable. Against the superior tag-team duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, the Falcons need all hands on deck to hang with the fantastic Viking pass attack. Without Trufant (and maybe Poole), it could be a long day for the Atlanta defense.
The New England Patriots can win this game however they want. If they prefer to go to the ground and give the ball to running backs Dion Lewis and Rex Burkhead close to 40 times, they'll be successful.
If they want to go long to deep threat Brandin Cooks, they should be fine. If they want to feed tight end Rob Gronkowski in his annual homecoming game in Western New York, they can do that, too.
That's less of an indictment on the Buffalo defense, which has been up and down (sometimes very down) all year but has overall surpassed low preseason expectations.
Rather, it's a commentary on the fact that the Pats are firing on all cylinders after winning seven straight. The guess here is that this game becomes an "anything you can do, I can do better" matchup between the Carolina Panthers' No. When these two teams played in September, Thomas had five catches for 50 yards and one touchdown on the first drive alone. He didn't see many targets the rest of the way as the Saints were largely in command of the matchup and went to the ground, but Thomas showed he can beat the Panthers secondary.
As for Funchess, he is facing a Saints team that is missing safety Marcus Williams and may not have cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who is questionable with an ankle injury.
Ken Crawley is back from an abdomen injury, but as he told Josh Katzenstein of NOLA. Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle SeahawksIf the Seattle offensive line can hold off the Philadelphia Eagles' front seven long enough for quarterback Russell Wilson to do work, then the 'Hawks can protect their house and pull off the upset. If the Seahawks falter in that regard, then it could be a long day for the Seattle offense. This transformation is called logit transformation.
The other common choice is the probit transformation, which will not be covered here. A logistic regression model allows us to establish a relationship between a binary outcome variable and a group of predictor variables. It models the logit-transformed probability as a linear relationship with the predictor variables. We are now ready for a few examples of logistic regressions. The data set has 200 observations and the outcome variable used will be hon, indicating if a student is in an honors class or not.
We will purposely ignore all the significance tests and focus on the meaning of the regression coefficients. The output on this page was created using Stata with some editing. What is p here. In other words, the intercept from the model with no predictor variables is the estimated log odds of being in honors class for the whole population of interest. Writing it in an equation, the model describes the following linear relationship. Now we can relate the odds for males and females and the output from the logistic regression.
The intercept of -1. Using the odds we calculated above for males, we can confirm this: log(. The coefficient for female is the log of odds ratio between the female group and male group: log(1. So we can get the odds ratio by exponentiating the coefficient for female.
Most statistical packages display both the raw regression coefficients and the exponentiated coefficients for logistic regression models.
The table below is created by Stata. In other words, the odds of being in an honors class when the math score is zero is exp(-9. These odds are very low, but if we look at the distribution of the variable math, we will see that no one in the sample has math score lower than 30.
In fact, all the test scores in the data set were standardized around mean of 50 and standard deviation of 10. So the intercept in this model corresponds to the log odds of being in an honors class when math is at the hypothetical value of zero.
How do we interpret the coefficient for math. We will use 54. Then the conditional logit of being in an honors class when the math score is held at 54 isWe can examine the effect of a one-unit increase in math score. When the math score is held at 55, the conditional logit of being in an honors class isWe can say now that the coefficient for math is the difference in the log odds.
In other words, for a one-unit increase in the math score, the expected change in log odds is. Can we translate this change in log odds to the change in odds.
Recall that logarithm converts multiplication and division to addition and subtraction. Its inverse, the exponentiation converts addition and subtraction back to multiplication and division. Applying such a model to our example dataset, each estimated coefficient is the expected change in the log odds of being in an honors class for a unit increase in the corresponding predictor variable holding the other predictor variables constant at certain value.
Each exponentiated coefficient is the ratio of two odds, or the change in odds in the multiplicative scale for a unit increase in the corresponding predictor variable holding other variables at certain value. Here is an example. In all the previous examples, we have said that the regression coefficient of a variable corresponds to the change in log odds and its exponentiated form corresponds to the odds ratio. This is only true when our model does not have any interaction terms.
The interpretation of the regression coefficients become more involved. In this simple example where we examine the interaction of a binary variable and a continuous variable, we can think that we actually have two equations: one for males and one for females. Now we can map the logistic regression output to these two equations.
More explicitly, we can say that for male students, a one-unit increase in math score yields a change in log odds of 0.This course was tough, but immensely satisfying. The instructor's lecture notes were written very clearly and were easy to readA very nice introduction to Hadoop.
Extremely helpful and I appreciate all the work the instructor put into the course. I actually benefitted from the lack of Java specific help since I had to generate code on my own. I was forced to dig in and found that very rewardingVisualizing data interactively will be useful when performing any type of data analysis.
Shmueli always answered questions on the discussion forum quickly and very thoroughly. I am going to rock the graphics at work. This was an excellent intro to the multiple types of graphics in R, and how and when they can be combined (or not).
This can be very confusing, so this type of intro helps to avoid some of the pitfalls and dead ends. It was a fun and interesting class, with lots of opportunity to create graphics and learn new techniques. I will be working a lot creating customized plots and graphics for reports. This class was crucial for my understanding of graphics in R and how to fully customize the output.
Thank you so much, this was truly an amazing course and helped out a lot. It helped me immediately with my job. I was able to understand and apply the concepts to a time-series analysis. The R package I was using (vars) required that I read the documentation, which used much of the terminology and concepts in this class. I would have been quite lost without that introduction to the material. This class really stretched my brain.
The TA was really helpful and very responsive to questions. Overall the course was a great experience. The more courses I take at Statistics. Well done and look forward to the continued evolution of this institution. I can't recommend this class highly enough. Professor Shmueli is an excellent teacher and has written a very clear and practical book.
The professor provided good feedback to questions and introduced a wide range of fascinating supplemental information to the course for individuals who want to go deeper. The TA was also excellent with good feedback on the homeworkI really liked how the instructors coordinated the course.
They are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I found their textbook Practical Spreadsheet Modelling an excellent resourceThe modeling techniques learned in this course will greatly assist me in understanding the use of models in the banking industry. I am very appreciative of the instructor an the TA for their unflagged availability and contribution to this class. It was a very good class and I enjoyed it and would recommend others to take it.
The course was very interesting. It was the first time I've had this level of exposure to data mining. The real life examples and exercises covered during the course helped me to understand the various approaches and techniques presented. I feel I now have a really firm foundation on which to build and have been encouraged by this course to keep learning and working towards going even deeper into stats and analysis.
The course was a master piece. I like the style and I will take more courses. I really enjoyed this course and found it sufficiently challenging, although well explained and the instructor was very approachable and explained concepts and addressed questions clearly and fairly.Iceland in general, is a very travel friendly country and I recommend a trip there to anyone who appreciates vast interesting landscapes, friendly people, and a whole lot more.
Thank you Nordic Visitor for the wonderful vacation. This was a trip of a lifetime for us. All of the accommodations were great. There was enough time in each day that we were never rushed to get to the next place. We were delighted by our Express Iceland tour, and the arrangements made on our behalf by Nordic Visitor. There were no unpleasant or unexpected surprises. Our accommodations consistently exceeded our expectations.
We very much enjoyed Iceland, and look forward to returning again in the future.
We found the whole experience of visiting Iceland was very much smoothed by the prior arrangements and efficient service. It was good to visit the office and meet Alexandra and she was lovely and charming.
The accommodation was largely excellent and the recommendations for our days were great. We had one of the best holidays ever, and given that we were in a very unknown environment, did not speak the language and had no experience of driving on the 'wrong side' of the road in snowy conditions, we were very pleased that everything worked so well.
Thanks to you all for the great service.
The tour was very comprehensive and well organized. It exceeded my expectations. I have visited over 50 countries. This trip was the best. My son, daughter and son in law are already talking about visiting Iceland. The map, tour book and suggested itinerary were outstanding. We were not quite sure what to expect, but everything went according to plan.
Before our arrival we received a fairly comprehensive information package in the mail including a large map of Iceland and detailed itinerary. On our arrival at the airport we were picked up by a taxi driver who had our vouchers for the hotels, car rental and ferry.
The next day we were driven to the car rental agency, and with our GPS powered-up, away we went. It turned out to be two weeks of incredible scenery, learning and great food. We recommend this trip and company. Me and my girlfriend drove around the country (12 days because we added some extra nights to the base trip) on a self drive tour booked through Nordic Visitor. We chose budget accommodation throughout and it was beyond excellent.Affy, India Arctic Romance, December 2014 My wife and I have just returned from our honeymoon in Lapland and I have to say, Irja (from www.
